Q: Is this [unnatural color] okay?
A: So long as it's not super bright/neon, it's probably fine!
Q: Is short fur the only thing that they have?
A: No, of course not! You can have long fur, short fur, curly fur, silky fur, no fur, anything you can imagine. And in fact, Skies are not limited by tail length, ear shape, fur length or anything so long as it is within generalized dog proportion. For example, a long tail is fine, but it wouldn't be appropriate to have a monkey tail!
Q: Is there anything special about the third eye (middle of forehead)?
A: Nope, not really. The only thing that's different about it from the two main eyes is that it, like the smaller eyes,

◦Skies prefer to hunt small to medium sized animals, including rabbits, ferrets, and squirrels; as well as pheasants, ducks, and other medium game birds. Smaller Skies may try to catch frogs and even fish caught in small streams, whereas larger, older Skies may try to catch small deer. However, it is not unusual to see a Skyrachnid eating wild grapes and berries.
•While there is some range of intelligence between individuals, Skyrachni are primarily capable of intelligence slightly higher than that displayed by domestic dogs. However, they show highly varying personalities that do not always conform to species specifications, as well as the unusual ability of tool use that is typically only seen in more knowledgeable species.
